Hello everyone and welcome to The Crown Top Kings new and improved website courtesy of our talented friends at www.lawtonbailey.com.

If you go to the rather cool looking retro media player you can hear songs snippets from our brand new debut CD. It’s a mix of Western Swing, Country, Rockabilly, Rock ‘n’ Roll and 1940’s Swing. Order a copy now at crowntopkings@hotmail.co.uk

The band would like to thank Bob Wildkat and the boys from Wildkats NW for all their help + support since we started. Check the boys out at www.wildkatsnorthwest.com

We’ve been asked a lot about our about our instruments so for those of you that are interested: Jesse plays a home made Steel guitar and a Gibson Chet Atkins Country Gent guitar through a Fender Deluxe amp.

Graham plays an old upright Double Bass that he bought in bits off ebay through a home made amplifier!

Chris plays a Selmer Super Action 80 Tenor saxophone and a Gretsch 6120 Guitar through a Fender Blues Junior amp.

Pat plays vintage Slingerland drums and Paiste 2002 cymbals.

You can see some shots us in action with all our stuff in the photo gallery, photos courtesy of Roger Liptrot www.folkimages.com and Neil Davies (thanks fellas!)

Some interesting facts about the band: Graham currently has over thirteen chickens and a large cock called Henry....and our Chris came top of his class for sewing at school and was even considering a career as a seamstress at one point!

Future plans include writing and recording some original material for our 2nd CD. We’ll also be recording forthcoming shows and adding some live tracks as free downloads and will put the best bits out as live CD too. There will also be some live footage added shortly so don’t forget to join our mailing list, add us to your favourites, keep looking and stay in touch…….
